That's awful, and I'm with you about not having a memory anymore. I do keep lots and lots of records however, so those would have to suffice if I were audited. >> Sharon, My sweet Roger does most of the record keeping. But his memory is getting almost as bad as mine. LOL Memory loss by association, I guess. Our CPA thinks the audit was caused by the fact that we let a rental house sit unoccupied for over a year. They seem to think we let one of our kids live there rent free. Well, we DIDN'T, but darn it, it's OUR house and I should think we could let someone live there if we wanted to. Anyway, we just didn't rent it because we're old and tired. LOL We've since sold the house, but this audit has me frustrated. Kind of like when you see a cop you automatically slow down even though you're not going over the speed limit, you know? Love, T.

Guest guest
< > Sue, you sound like me. I never considered a TT after my surgery, of course 20 years ago, it was DEFINITELY considered cosmetic. Now, I know there's no way they would pay for it. And, after all this time, it isn't important. My priorities are my hubby and my animals. But with 20 horses, 4 dogs, 3 cats and a parrot, THEY are what motivates me to stay out of debt...although some days it doesn't seem possible. When people talk about investing in the stock market, I tell them I already have...The 4 legged variety, and they're all out in my pasture, eating me out of house and home! BTW, my parrot is a Chattering Lory...Bright red with green legs and tail, named Chili Peppa! And he talks a blue streak, his favorite phrases being, " Shut up! " and " Sit down!
