protein drinks and vitiams

It tastes, compared to many other protein drinks, quite good. What

I appreciate is the consistency, it's not thick and milky but more

like a kool aid drink. There are several flavors, it does add up

($$$) but it's worth it to me. After all, I used to spend this much

a day on coffee and scones at Starbucks! My favorite flavor is the

punch, I think, and the least is orange. After surgery,

(immediately) it'll be hard to get one all down. Now (just 2 1/2

weeks post op) I can hold the bottle and drink it relatively

quickly. Or you could put it on ice and carry it around in a

plastic glass or something. It's a big bottle but doable. Hope

this helps!

Hey, thats a good point. I can't believe how much a few coffee's at

Starbucks or a coffee stand adds up to. We shouldn't mind spending

a little extra for a protein drink that is actually " good " for us.

I just know that my doctor said to be real careful and watch the

calories in some of the brands. I will have to try this one.

Sounds good.

Thanks!

I am using Isopure, the Dutch Chocolate. I mix it with 3oz cold

water and let it set 10 minutes. I like it just fine. Not alot to

drink to get that much protein. It is pricey but, all of you have a

point, Starbucks rocks. We spent tons there so for protein we should

spend there as well. It doesnt taste bad. I always have a hard time

drinking all the ounces of the other protein drinks. With Isopure

being just 3oz it is alot easier.
