I didnt do anything different yesterday than any other day except I did

forget and pick up my daughter (31 pds..I KNOW I KNOW) and my stomach is SORE

this

morning...like I did stomach crunches all day yesterday...Could this be just

from picking her up? I know my muscles are really out of it from surgery but I

dunno....Any opinions or suggestions except that I should not have picked her

up!! She is almost 3 and Im not sure why but night before last she pee'd the

bed so about 11:30pm I woke her up to go to the potty and poor baby was 3/4

aslep and couldnt even walk so I just scooped her up..LIKE BEFORE SURGERY and

carried her down the hall to the potty...I have learned my lesson thought..I

PROMISE...up till then i have been soooo careful not to pick up or lift anything

more than a couple pounds because I am scared messing something up...

you are so funny Crystal ... I had to laugh when I read this.... My daughter

used to stand on the fifth step of a staircase ( before my surgery ) ...then

she's throw her self at me ... a game we played ... so much fun.... I would of

course catch her. I remember her standing there after my surgery ... me

begging her ... " please please dont jump honey " .

" any opinion or suggestions except that I should not have picked her up " ...

yep... take pain pills and rest ....REST ...and NEVER NEVER do that again.

Please PLEASE ... keep your promise .... no more picking up that cute daughter

of yours

am glad that you are " ok " ...

Crystal, I did exactly the same thing with my granddaughter. It was just an

automatic response. But now I think first, and sit down and she gets up on

my lap. In your case, that wouldn't have helped. Once....it happens. That

you're aware of the problem, is good.

Crystal, I did the same thing, but with my 55 pound 4 year old...they

are so irresistable...I look into those big baby browns, but like you

I learned my lesson and it happened in the middle of the night when

he needed me...my hubby sleeps like the dead so he was no

help...thank God he finally stopped wetting...YEAH!!! Anyway, I made

it into a climbing game where I sit down and he has to climb

the " mommy mountain " and he just laughs...and I do too! Just be

careful, cuz one look from my babies and I wanna just scoop 'em up!!

Still at nine and a half weeks post-op, I use my 20 pound weight

lifting capacity to get out of some stuff around the house...don't

know how much longer my hubby will buy it though...

Crystal, what a crack-up re: getting out of stuff around the house. I'm

going to have to remember that!
