Guest guest
I personally had not had it done since I had emergency gall bladder out a year prior to my WLS but I do not think it will require any more healing time than just the WLS. It is very common to get both done at the same time. Good Luck and God Bless ROBIN, NEW YORK AGE-41 OPEN RNY OCT. 18TH, 2002 DR. Guest guest
I am scheduled to have my gallbladder removed at the same time as my surgery (rny). My surgeon says it will be easier to get it all done at once which makes sense but I'm starting to worry about my recovery taking longer, more risks of complications, etc. Has anyone else on the board had both done at the same time and anyone know if the recovery time was much longer, any other problems? Thanks alot! Bridget N.
