Hi all, On Wed. I will have my EGD. I am not looking forward to it, but I will

be brave. My Lap RNY is on 12-29-03 and with any luck I will be home on New

Years Eve! So far, I am excited and feeling uneasy about not being nervous. I

guess in time, I will. The month is so busy with the holidays and preparing for

surgery, I am sure the time will fly by.

Just wanted to share what's going on. Good luck to all of you waiting for appts

and approvals. My original consult appt was on 4-19-04 but I was persistent and

called 2 times a week asking about cancellations and I got in early. You can

too!!! As far as ins. approvals, I was pre-approved in Aug 03. and have been

afraid of the grocery union strike taking my approval away by changing my policy

or something crazy. Fortunately, I still have my approval and the same policy

at least until the new year.

Best wishes,

stef

Stef, waiting can make you crazy!!! You're right, this month will go so

fast. Before you know it, Dec. 29th will be here.
