Hi all,

My name is Sheryl. I live in the Portland, Oregon area. I had Lap RNY on

October 29th, 2001 with Dr. Emma . I have lost a total of 139lbs and

have gone from a size 24 to a size 10. I am approved for PS abdominoplasty

and breast reduction and will be having surgery in march.

I have been lurking here since almost a year prior to my RNY. I have enjoyed

the lively debate from drinking milk (I do) to calcium (citrate for me) to

protein drinks (I have one every day ). I do all my labs and have had my

dexascan and keep copies of all my results in a file. Some information I

agree with, some I don't, but all has been informative and helpful.

I want to thank all of you for being here for me, helping to guide me and

lending me support through this time of great change in my life. In the

future I hope to add positive contributions to the discussion.

I have found the recent discussion of dental issues interesting. I am a

dental hygienist by trade.
