Guest guest
I read an article yesterday that made me stop and go duh. I have a type of depression where the serotonine does not work properly. It works to some extent but not always. One of the " side effects " of this disorder is a craving for carbohydrates (really?). I have started back on wellbutrin and have noticed a couple of things. One is that I am craving protein more then carbs (always a good sign for me.) The second thing is that I am also not feeling hungry all of the time. I am actually eating about every 2 to3 hours (about 6 maybe 7 times a day.) Totally amazing. I know that when I eat more carbs I feel more hungry. It is that vicious cycle. I am glad the wellbutrin has started kicking in somewhat because I go grocery shopping on Wednesday. Thanks for letting me share. Lori Owen - Denton, Texas CHF 4/14/01 479 lbs. SRVG 7/16/01 401 lbs.
