Guest guest
I just returned from a cruise on the largest ship at sea (RC) and had a ball! Had my boob job 12/2 and was in good shape for the trip and I can't tell you the fun I had wearing camisoles and cute suits! While in the Ship-Shape fitness area I had the director do a European scan of my body to tell me how much lean body weight I am vs body fat and I can't believe the results! 21% body fat. She said the muscles I developed working out means that I am burning almost 2000 calories a day with no effort and that I should be eating that much daily just to maintain the muscle composition. I am 157 lbs and she said I don't need to lose anymore that its almost all muscle and that it would be very hard to lose at this point. The muscle composition weighs more and is burning fat at a fast rate. (I wear a 10 and keep thinking I could lose more.) The kick is this. She said that the test showed a high water weight retention and started me on the European program called " Elemis " . I have lost 3 lbs in the last week and wonder if anyone has ever heard of this program (it is quite expensive.)? The contents are natural and suppose to be wonderful for you, but I certainly can feel it kicking up my metabolism and I am peeing alot. She test showed 60.3% body weight is water and 30-40 is normal range. So the test looked like this: (looked like I was having an EEG) 34.6 lbs were body fat 125.4 Lean body weight 43.8 liters (60.3%) body water Basal Metabolic Rate 1731 cal/day Seeing that this is my first venture into these types of tests and products, does anyone have any imput as to how valid they are and/or these products? But I'd sure be interested to know exactly what's in them and what each component is supposed to do and where the reference info can be found to back up whatever claims are made. Also curious: do u have any idea (or did she) why u are retaining water? Do u have any symptoms of water retention (do your feet or lower legs retain a " dent " if u push on them hard)? Have u gotten a doc's opinion? Carol A
