Guest guest
fIRST OFF i AM NEW TO THE Group. My name is Ronit and I had Lap in November 2000 and had some complications bu overall have done very well. Prior to surgery I suffered from numerous abdominal problems from Gas, Diarhea, to ulcers, polyps ect. three months post op I had my galbladder removed(LAP). Since then I continue to suffer a shooting knife stabbing pain on my left side right where my rib cage starts and directly ontop of one of the ports. I have had 2 endoscopies and have been + for Hpylori. I was first told I had a hernia and then told recently there is no hernia. The pain exists all the time and it is now scaring me. Any suggestions as to what I should do. ANyone have had similiar pain in that area? I do plan on calling the surgeon on Monday and getting an immediate appointment as suggested by my PCP. Again thanks for welcoming me and I look forward to learning as much as possible from all of you.
