Guest guest
Hi, Sorry I fell behind all the postings and tried to keep up but somewhere got lost about why we need to give our children the High Gamma Tocopherol Vitamin E? I am already giving my son the vitamin E 400IU (d-alpha) and he was so moody (behavior was horrible) for about 3 weeks. He has finally calmed down and a little nervous about giving him the high gamma now. So can someone tell me what results they have seen with the high gamma vitamin E - improvements and any negative behavior/changes? Thank you. Guest guest
Hi, I just purchased the High Gamma Tocopherol Vitamin E 200mg at Vitamin World today and my question is how many capsules should I give my 5 year old daughter and when? She gets 2EFA and 1EPA and 1 Vit. E 400IU D Alpha in the morning. I was trying to give her another Vit. E in the afternoon but she started getting moody so I stopped with the afternoon capsule. Should I try to increase the D-alpha before I introduce the High Gamma Vit. E? Any and all comments of concern are welcome. Thanks again for all of your help. Guest guest
Personally I have not seen any difference with gamma, but give it to avoid the gamma deficiency that is induced with high vit E supplements. Giving 400 IU a day of alpha tocophorol doesn't really fall into that catagory of " high dose " , so I wouldn't worry about it from that end. But there are some on this list who have seen specific benefits from higher gamma. This may be anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant. We don't know yet...but it is a benign thing to try. Did you get any benefit in speech or coordination with the moodiness? A few weeks of more difficult behavior is totally worth it if in exchange you are getting communication. -claudia > Hi, > > Sorry I fell behind all the postings and tried to keep up but somewhere > got lost about why we need to give our children the High Gamma > Tocopherol Vitamin E?
