Guest guest
Sue: Having been raised on Long Island and visited my father from time to time in New Jersey, I had to thank you for the giggle. Just to let you know though: 1. People from Long Island are quite aware of Great Adventure and go out of our way not to refer to it as Six Flags. 2. Being drunk and eating at a diner at 3 am drunk is not exclusive to New Jersey. Been there and done that, but it's not truly an experience until you order french fries with brown gravy with a diet Coke. That's the law. 3. The " Shore " thing cracks up New Yorker's. Yet we flock to the " Jersey Shore " every year. Not me personally, as I don't like beaches, shores or anything that has to do with sand. 4. I beg to differ on the fact that people in New Jersey know how to negotiate a circle. I've been there and have been frightened by what I've seen of people with New Jersey plates negotiating circles. It's a rather big joke in New York. 5. People from Long Island also refer our day trips as going to " The City " too. 6. If anyone were to ever put mayo on a corned beef sandwich or swiss cheese on a philly cheesestake I do believe the laws in this state consider that justifiable homicide, or at least a darn good beating. However, it may go well on the blood sausage thing. 7. I still think " What exit " is hysterical in regards to New Jersey. It's so true. We see Jersey plates and we pull over. 8. In regards to the one kid named Tony in your class every year, try living in Massapequa where it's nickname is " Matza-Pizza " . Always at least three to a class with at least two Greensteins and Cohen's that are not related at all. 9. I remember Korvette's, Rickles, Bambugers and Orbach's. Brings back a lot of memories. Even remember the song for Rickles too. God I'm old. LOL 10. Hey, I'm an " Island Girl " will never pump my own gas. Don't have to go to New Jersey to play Princess. 11. Have to say, been to New Jersey enough to recognize most of the locations for the Sopranos too. Pretty amusing. Just thought I'd throw in my .02 cents Regina
Guest guest
Regina: the people who live on the Island have migrated from Jersey. Problem solved. Fay Bayuk

" in Soprano-land
Guest guest
There you go. Knew there had to be a reason why it was getting so crowded here.
