Seven of the root canals fractured before we got the crowns on them. Believe me! The endodontist and dentists do NOT have to pay student loans back any more... so far over $10,000 bucks.... No WONDER I'm broke. It's nice to see that someone else has gone through this since WLS. My dexa was great... I think the calcium is starting with my teeth and working it's way down. However, I did go through protein malnutrition and severe anemia, hence, I blamed it on that. Guest guest
, All I can say is OUCH! Nine root canals?! Poor you. I thought the two I had would kill me. Here, they send you home with no pain medicine. After putting something on the nerve to kill it, Tylenol or Motrin isn't gonna do it. That's why I went to the hospital for a shot of Moraphine! Not the ER guys. The after hours clinic. Dawn
Guest guest
Having had ALL my teeth removed, I can surely relate. Had my last 9 done in March...when they did my uppers, several years ago, had 9 of 11 removed go to dry socket, and there wasn't a pain killer made that would relieve it. My dentist wanted to put me in the hospital. It scared me to death in March for fear that would happen again...Recovery was slow, but not so painful, although I am still having bone fragments erupt through my gums. But, to make light of a bad situation, last Halloween, we went to a party. I dressed up to the 9's in a fancy beaded dress, got me some big old fairy wings, and hung a set of old dentures off a rhinestone choker...I was the Tooth Fairy. My second choice (which my friends vetoed) was to just take my dentures out, and go as the toothless fairy. Sometimes you just have to have a sense of humor.
