I'm 27, and lost 114 and have excess skin on my face too. I've only been

called gaunt once... but my solution to everything is to plan for plastic

surgery. I want once in my life to look in the mirror naked and think,

hmmm... looks good! Other than accepting things the way they are, or the ole

face lift, don't know what a person can do.

Yep, there is face-be-back. But of course, some of us aged while we were

waiting. LOL!

It most definitely isn't worth paying money, getting scars & numb spots

before 3 yrs.

But eyes, those you can fix any time.

I think it does....at about 2 years or a little more...my hubby started

telling me my face was looking better.....no weight gain..just a

redistribution....at about 2 1/2 years or a little better...my butt rounded

out a bit...still no weight gain...just redistribution...all happy things.

No way would I try to up my calories or try to stop my weightloss. I went

below goal, but figured my body would do what it wanted to..and stabilize

where it was most happy, and it did. I really feel good at this weight...and

never thought I would weigh this little. Just shows to go ya!

Hey, Vitalady-

Does face-be-back happen around the same time as butt-be-back? I'm

noticing that mine is beginning to crawl back up the back of my leg

and get back to where it belongs! I thought that I had lost it (my

butt- not my face) but then I found it. It had slid down the back of

my leg and was hanging around my knees. Now after 25 months it's

just about back where it ought to be. I had doubted you (I know, I

know- how could I possibly) but son of a gun- there it is almost back

where it should be after year 2, just like you said.

Yep, that's about when it happened for me, too. And, that's about the time

that people started to tell me that I looked 20 years younger!

My face was looking fairly gaunt for awhile, personally, I like my face

a bit fuller.Around two years post-op I began to notice that it started

filling back in. Now I started to lose a bit again, pushing protein,

protein, protein and I'm getting " that look " again. I know it will fill

out once my weight loss stabilizes again. But then again, the father

in-law has started to be nice to me again. Thinks I'm sick and dying or

something. Always seems to get nice to me when he thinks I have one foot

on a bananna peel. Pretty sick stuff, but that's how it goes. LOL

Has anyone had a lift on their face?

I don't have saggy skin from weight loss. Just age at least I think thats what

it is. Frown lines setting in around the mouth etc. If I smooth out my face just

a pinch on either side I look years younger. Think duct tape would work :P ?

lol.

For something that minor is a face lift requiring lots of scars?

What in the world is wrong with your face Debby?? When I saw you a few

months ago, you looked incredible - beautiful! I guess it's true that we

are all our own worst critics, because I truly thought that you looked

terrific.
