I just got my one year postop blood done and I have low glucose levels...

Has anyone else had problems with this? My reg. MD says to have sugar more

often, which is opposite of my surgeon.. I am not sure what to do. I have

been really light headed and I have fainted a few times lately too.

Any words of advice would be great.

Also what other blood tests did you all how are one year post op get done?

I am a diabetic and so I am always focused on my glucose levels. Did your

doc say " sugar " or did he mean carbs? Since carbs break down into sugar he

may have just meant to start taking in a few more carbs each day. Can you

get a glucometer to test your blood regularly? Most insurances will cover

them if you have a doctor's order for one.
