Guest guest
Hi , Glad to have you on the losing side. Did your husband tell you that I worried him to death all day Tuesday calling to check on you, lol? I was just concerned. Your leg pain is probably coming out of your back from laying on that hard operating room table sooo long. It is quite common to have leg pain after surgery for that reason. Hang in there it gets better, mine hurt also for over a month. Your are doing great. A. B. LAP RNY 3/22/03 Dr. Steve Weinstein, MD. Guest guest
Hi , Congratulations on the progress you have so far! Right after my surgery, I had a terrible stitch like pain, right near the incision. It was a muscle spasm, and it was very painful. My doctor gave me a muscle relaxant and it went away. Hopefully this is what you are experiencing and it can be easily fixed! I didn't have blurred vision though, make sure you mention it to the Dr. The calves are probably due to swelling, this will improve with time. Guest guest
HI Honey, Yes when I wrote I said my right side but meant left..It feels as tho a stitch is pulling and when I move wrong it feels as tho someone is sticking a knife into my side witha burning sensation. I go to the Dr today and will ask him about this...
Guest guest
I had the same pain on the left side. My doctor told me that was where the " tool " that does the stapling went in and it moves quite a bit and that kind of residual pain is quite normal. Mine lasted for 4-5 weeks to lessening degrees each week.
