Ya gotta use a little common sense when you're deciding what carbs to eat. Certainly a coupla carrots are far better for a person than a coupla frosted donuts! The carbs in carrots are complex carbs so not in the same category as the simple carbs in refined sugar products; and carrots have a lot of very useful nutrients that far outweigh any extra carbs.
