Guest guest
Hi everyone. I haven't posted in a while, but I am doing well. I had my 2 month check up on Wednesday and the Dr. said everything is good. I have lost almost 50 lbs. I have a couple questions, my husband and I applied for health insurance and I was denied coverage since I had the surgery. Can they do that? I knew they could raise the premium which would be bad enough, but I didn't know they could deny me. Has any one had this problem. We were trying to go through Anthem. Also, my blood sugar is running very low, today it has been around 69 and yesturday I had a very bad episode where I almost passed out and my blood sugar was in the 50's. I hadn't eaten anything that would cause dumping. I am so scared to have dumping that I aviod sugar like the plaugue. Is this normal or should I call the Dr. I hadn't had anything like this before yesturday. What can I do. I was lucky I was with my husband and kids at the mall when I almost passed out. I managed to get to our van and lay down, but if I had been alone I don't know what I would have done. I had eaten so it wasn't from not eating. Infact I had gotten almost 60 gram of protien already that day. I have never felt like that before. My heart was pounding, cold sweats, tingling around my mouth and lips, and my legs felt like jello. It came on so quick. It really worries me that it might happen while driving. Any help would be great. Please send it to my e-mail address at weitlauf@.... Thank you.
