Guest guest
Hello everybody, I just wanted to take this opportunity to send a brief post. Today is the one-year anniversary of my WLS. I have lost 110 lbs., but think I should have lost a bit more. There were a couple of setbacks which I do NOT attribute to the WLS in any way. (I ended up getting mononucleosis, not ONCE.....but..TWICE this year.Believe it or not I didn't even get it the " fun " way ....from kissing! )There's been lots of stress due to my mothers terminal illness and this is how the doc said I got it.My immune system got stressed. So for a large part of this year...I couldn't even work out/exercise. Hopefully 2003 will be a better year. I surely wish all of you a wonderful 2003. I eagerly read how different folks are planning their plastic surgeries, etc. Sorry so windy. W. in Ky.
Guest guest
God bless!! Why do we have to feel bad about " only " losing 110 pounds!!! Change your attitude girl! Everything from here on out is gravy, Feel proud of what you have done. Let it give you power to go on further. Do not live in regret. Take a daily inventory at the end of the day.. Don't let things buid up, or be in denial. You are on the road. Don't let negative thoughts distract you from the goal.
