Guest guest
I sometimes wonder if it isn't ironic that in earlier times our metabolisms would have made us the survivors, the creme de la creme. But in our society now, with all its' abundance, we end up being obese and at a disadvantage. Vicki A. > Jac, who would need to flame you. Too many people have the same problem. Guest guest
Ironic?? How about a glitch in evolution!! The genes have not caught up with the times yet. > > Jac, who would need to flame you. Too many people have the same > problem. Guest guest
I used to say that.... " put me in a prison camp and starve me...and I will die of malnutrition a fat woman! " I'm more sure of that statement today than I was when I said it many years ago. I'd also be the last to go! ´¨¨)) -:¦:- ¸.·´ .·´¨¨)) ((¸¸.·´ ..·´ -:¦:- Jacque -:¦:- ((¸¸.·´* > I sometimes wonder if it isn't ironic that in earlier times our > metabolisms would have made us the survivors, the creme de la creme. > But in our society now, with all its' abundance, we end up being > obese and at a disadvantage. > > Vicki A. >

Then why over the years are people actually getting fatter and not adapting as evolution would have it? Seems we should at least slowly be transforming if it were evolution. It's more like devolution...haha!! ´¨¨)) -:¦:- ¸.·´ .·´¨¨)) ((¸¸.·´ ..·´ -:¦:- Jacque -:¦:- ((¸¸.·´*

Guest guest
But by then, at the rate we are going, we will all be dead of obesity. How is that evolving? Never could get that link between the non-performers vs the performers...they had to survive, yet couldn't have under a theory of evolution. A giraffe's neck had to be long enough to eat what it's system would metabolize...or it would have starved to death over thousands of years of evolving. Just does't come together for me.
