Guest guest Posted November 20, 2003 Report Share Posted November 20, 2003 Hi Everyone, Tomarrow is my surgery. I am excited, but right now I am pretty nervous. I just read Toi's post about the lady that died from WLS because of a blood clot. I know I am ready, I know this is for me so I am sure that I will be okay. I am just a little scared right now. I have to be at the hospital at 10. I just washed my tummy with the prescribed soap. I am hungery.... LOL I quit eating at lunch time around 1230. So I am going to go a while with out food, but maybe that will give me a heads up on Loss?? I think I should be home on Monday or Tuesday so I will post as soon as I feel like siting at the puter! Guest guest Posted November 21, 2003 Report Share Posted November 21, 2003 Mindy, Just keep in mind, if you get up and walk...you'll have less of that risk of getting blood clots. We all want to think of the good side of this surgery but unfortunately there are other sides to it as well. Toi's friend was one of the ones you don't want to think about and we all hope that her family can find peace someday and Toi as well. I wish you good luck and will pray for you and Crystal also.
