Guest guest
Hi, I live in Ark, but went to MS to have the DS surgery done. As far as I know, the RNY is the only WLS done in Ar, but it's possible that has changed. There's a great support group here on yahoo!groups for Ark. It's called ARKWLS--do a search on it & have her join. It's mostly RNY though. My sister & I are the only DSr's there. Let me know if I can help with anything else. If anyone can help or has had somehting similar happen please let me know! Thanks! ~e ----------------------------------------- When I went in for what I thought was my 8 / 9 week appt.. they did an US to see how far I was.... there was an empty sac. After having a few beta levels done... the numbers were going up.. and had a repeat us 2 weeks later.. showing a baby in the sac... measuring 7w 1 d and a heartbeat. So.. yes.. it is highly possible that you are newly pg and you can't see the baby yet. It is also possible to have a sac and no baby... body thinks it's pg.. but no actual baby... happened to me last pg.. I had a sac... a placenta.. measured 14 weeks... but there was no fetus.. I believe the term is blighted ovum. But.. your body still produces the hormones.. and you feel pg.. because of the hormones. So.. it isn't in your head... because you can't wish a positive pg test.. only hormones can do that!! Request they do the hcg level blood test. - Mommy to: Noah - 10/14/02 - 31 weeker - 3lbs 11 oz Deanna Marie or Jonah due November 18th - 2004 http://www.love-my-kids.com
Guest guest
Hi I went for a ultrasound with this pregnancy and doctor told me that he was 99% sure I was not pregnant, than next week blood test showed low. Apparently the test was done early and so the ultrasound did not show baby, three weeks later at another ultrasound there was babies heartbeat and baby. I am now 34 weeks pregnant today and due next month. July 16th, 2004

Guest guest
I will pray for you. I believe they said I was only about 2-3 weeks when I got the first results.
Guest guest
e, I just wanted to tell you what happened with my daughter. I did the same as you, got the positive home tests and positive tests in the doctors office. I had an ultrasound done and all it showed was a sac. Nothing in it. I freaked. I was so upset. But, as it turned out, I was not far enough along to actually see the baby on the ultrasound. They rescheduled my ultrasound for a couple weeks later, where, lo and behold, she was on the screen!! And, from my understanding, you have to be at least 6 weeks pregnant to be able to detect the heartbeat and fetal pole. I would say, you might not have been far enough along for them to detect the baby, or babies (since they saw two sacs). Crossing my fingers for you!! Good Luck and sending lots of sticky baby dust your way. Tammy
Guest guest
Hi e. I'm not in the medical field, but can I offer a cyberhug? Your post sounded like you're in anguish. Mmmmm, when was the 1st day of your last period? It could be too early, definitely do a blood test. Hmmm, they didn't do an early US on me, just tons of labs & a pap. Hope you get your answer soon. Guest guest
e, It sure does sound like you are pregnant. I think that maybe you are just too early to detect anything especially if you have had 5 positive HPT's and a positive urine test. Will they do another ultrasound? Please let us know.
