Guest guest
>>>It has 7 grams of sugar and 10 Carbohydrates. Is this to much?<<< Everyone is different but that for me is WAY to much for a whole meal much less just something to drink. I don't count calories and all that jazz (no time or patience to do so) so I have a simple rule that makes it easier for myself to " watch " what I eat / drink -- my personal rule is no more than 9 grams combined of sugar/carbs.. broken down nothing with more than 4 grams of sugar EVER and nothing with more than 9 grams of Carbs and if it has " both " sugar and carbs then together they can not equal more than 9 per meal. Plus the nothing white rule. (milk would fall in the white rule) I know it is simplistic but that's what works for me... Keep it simple ~smile~ I don't have the time or the personality to sit and " count out " daily intake. I have had the diet hot cocoa when I had my dental work done for a warm liquid and it counted as a meal since I was really NOT hungry and couldn't do food anyway and I added ProCel in it for the protein -- but that was under special circumstances. That's just me... others do it differently and there are probably many ways to do it right but for me -- that's WAY over the top of acceptable. hugz, ~denise
Guest guest
Just an FYI sugar is a carbohydrate. Most carbohydrates convert to sugar. It's just that the sugar listed on the label is already in sugar form. Lori Owen - Denton, Texas CHF 4/14/01 479 lbs. SRVG 7/16/01 401 lbs. Current Weight 302 lbs.
