I hit 60 pounds off today!!!

I am 9 weeks post op and today when I jumped on the scale I hit 60 pounds

down and gone forever!!!! I was so excited. Even better I am only 4 pounds

away from the 199 mark and only 9 pounds away from being halfway to my goal

weight!!!!!!!!! Woohooo!!!!!!!!

I was honestly hoping for the 199 by November 1 but I didn't make it. Oh

well. The thing I tell myself is this is weight gone for good. This is not

a fad diet where I will lose the weight only to gain it all back again plus

a few extra just for bad measure )

So maybe it will be December 1 before I hit the 199 (well I am hoping for

sooner than that but I will take what I can get). My weight loss either

moves fast and furious or so slow I feel like the scale may never move

again.

But the big difference this time is I know I (We) will get there eventually.

I didn't gain all this weight over night and I am not going to lose it over

night.

I tried on a bunch of clothes last night from my closet that I have not worn

in years. Mostly evening clothes that I want to wear on my cruise next

month. 1 outfit was still slightly snug but I am hopeful it will fit by

Cruise time. 5 Fit fine (maybe slightly to big but oh well it's cheaper to

wear them than buy new stuff that isn't going to fit in a couple of months)

and one dress I am so happy to say I have to take to the tailor and have it

altered because it was HUGE on me. I wish I could be a bit more fashionable

on the cruise but next year we will likely go on another and I will be

buying a whole new wardrobe then!!!!!
