Can anyone recommend a top notch OS in the So Cal area??

Preferably one who is more into the " cosmetic " side since there will

be no need to claim a " skeletal deformity " for insurance reasons--all

funds will be out of pocket..We need a OS who is good with lower jaw

surgery, genioplasty, chin and or lower jaw line inplants + cheek

inplants..Also we would like the pre surgery computer imaging

Hi Jim -

I can give you the name of my OS in Huntington Beach, CA

Carlsen DDS supposedly very highly regarded and experienced.

Also he's in-network for BCBS PPO. He does his surgeries at Hoag

hospital in Newport Beach which is a very good hospital.

I will let you know my opinion soon enough as I am having surgery

tomorrow morning.

One thing I do know for sure is my orthodontist is top-notch for

this type of thing. His name is Rose in Fountain Valley,

CA. Excellent guy and I do recommend him highly.

Check out Dr. Arnett in Santa Barbara, CA. He focuses on both

functional and aesthetic concerns. This is the only procedure he has

been doing for two decades.

Of all the surgeons I met with, I thought he was the best. I even

travelled from San Francisco to have upper, lower and genio with him.

Hi There!!!

I had a great Doctor in Newport Beach California. His name is Dr.

Wyatt. He performs more orthoganthic surgeries than any surgeon

in Orange County. I am 4.5 weeks post op and I love my cosmetic

change - as well as my functional change.

I had surgery at Hoag Hospital - total time in the operating room was

6 hours but I had a whole bunch of stuff going on.

I had upper, lower, genio, and cheek osteotomies....Dr. Wyatt is a

true artist!!!

Withall that he did to me...I had no bruising what so ever...but I

did have some swelling.

He does have the before and after computer imaging - but my actual

after was much better than the predictions....

I can't say enough GREAT things about Dr. Wyatt.
