Guest guest
I have never had problems with my legs giving out, but my legs are sore a lot...and it is not a muscle soreness from walking, it is like growing pains almost, when this happens, they feel week and i just want to sit... Guest guest
HI ! I am new.. just joined yesterday! South Florida over here. Sorry to hear about your falling. That happened to me the other day while I was carrying my 12 month old son. I tore up my knee and elbow really bad...I managed to protect my son from any harm.... so I don't care about my personal injuries. Let me tell you... I still feel like crap just thinking about it. My son thought it was funny and laughed. My back has gotten soooo bad as I gained more weight. I know from past in losing lots of weight that every 20 lbs or so my center of gravity gets thrown off and I am a mess! I would think about getting a referral from your PCP to a Spine Specialist... there may be some physical therapy or even some exercises you can do. Peace, K Open RNY Surgery date : 12/2/03 5' and 252 lbs hmmmm well i posted a couple days back and never got any replys im doing real good i dont know my weight as i just dont feel like stepping on a scale i might do it tomarrow i have been having some problems and i wanted to know if any one else as this problem my legs giv out and my hips lock an i fall alot i cant keep my balance i have to wait to go to the dr till after dec 7th as im in cali right now and my medical is in north carolina but as soon as i know something i will informyou guys thanks for all the support sarah 3 months post op

Guest guest
Sara I never saw your earlier post. I have never heard of the problem you are describing before. Maybe someone else on the list has. I would think you should calll your Dr's office and ask about it even if you can't go in right now because you are away from home. Might be something totally unrelated to the surgery.
