I thought my nerves were bad waiting on Approval...but nothing compared to this.It is finally sinkin' in that I am really going to have this and hittin' hard that this is FINALLY HAPPENING!!! As the days role by and having to get pre-op stuff out of the way... I think to myself that I will finally be on the LOSING side of things..yeah I am scared b/c of what has been going on(cousin) but as my hubby and talked this is the right thing to do.....And guess what...out of all this things do come true...He is going to ADOPT my middle daughter(long story email me if you want to know)So GOOD THINGS DO COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT.....Again THANK YOU ALL for being such a WONDERFUL Group of people..... I would love to hear all about you. And by the way, IM sure everything will go well for you. I have read many stories, and so far they all sound like they did the right thing and it went well for them, I believe the same will happen with you. Guest guest Posted November 7, 2003 Report Share Posted November 7, 2003 That's wonderful !! My husband is adopting my son. Our court hearing is Mon. Nov. 24th. My boy is so excited. My hubby is the only daddy my son has ever known. My ex has been out of the picture since my boy was 2yrs old, he's 5 now. My son thinks it's totally cool that he'll have the same last name as the rest of us.
