First let me say congrads to all those who have kept up with their

weight loss and to all those who are looking forward to surgery in

the upcoming months. Please be careful and understand that surgery is

only a leg up and not a long term solution for poor eating habits. I

currently have lost 100 pounds and I'm internally greatful. I think

to myself where would I be if I didn't have surgery. I was a whopping

355 when I had my consultation and I have since lost 100 pounds and I

can't begin to discript my feelings. But something really spooked me

a close friend of mine told me her sister had the surgery back in 99

and has since gained all her weight back. That had me thinking has

anyone ever thought that they would ever go back? I know I don't ever

want to go back to the way things used to be for me. EVER. It was a

challenge for me and I would hate to let myself down. I don't want to

get to comfortable thinking I don't have to work out for the rest of

my life. It's important that we all understand that if you don't

change your eating habits for the better surgery is only going to

prolong the inevitable. So everyone keep in mind that you have to

change your mind and your body will follow for as long as you have

the WILL.
