Ok gang...I try to stay away from the scales...I really do...But

today I went to work out at the gym at school so I decided to weigh

myself this morning, then weighed myself at the gym to compare the

scales. My home scale said 321. The scale at school said 315. Some

guy put a 10 lb. weight on the scale in the gym and it was dead on.

Which do I go by?? My home scale is a digital and it's supposed to

be right on the money...but when compared to the gym scale.....What

do I believe???

I know this will sound crazy and it may just be some weird phenomenon that

only applies to me so take it for what it's worth ok?.....

The first time the scale stopped moving I was totally bummed. Didn't move

for days. Then I got really busy with my women's group for a couple of days

and so I was not able to exercise for like 2 days. Suddenly the scale

started to move.

The second time it stopped I did everything I was supposed to...drank more

water, ate more protein, got in extra calories...nothing changed. So

finally I thought well not exercising worked before so I stopped for two

days and again the scale started moving.

So now when I am at a stand still for more than a couple of days I stop

exercising for 1-2 days. It always works. I have no idea why. Maybe

because I am not burning calories and therefore my body isn't trying so hard

to hold on to them?

You will have to let me know what happens. As I said it may just be a

coincidence.

Well, had my doctors appt yesterday, where I weighed the same as i

did on my scale and the same I have weighed for almost two weeks(i

think)...Dr. of course told me about muscle weighing more than fat,

but I am nonetheless discouraged...oh well, I am going back to work

on Monday and I have a pretty fast paced job(plus playing catch-up)

should help speed things up...

Thanks
