I am 35yo F I weight 315lbs i am 5'8 " .. I will be having the procedure in Honesdale PA. Can someone please tell me what it will be like during the first month? How much pain will i have? Will I be able to retun to full work say by Dec 20th If i have procedure done by Nov 12th????? I am a Firefighter in NY and this weight has been killing me for years. I have found it harder and harder to do my job as the weight kept piling on. I had tried exercise programs I tried all the fad diets I had trainers nothing worked. My genetics just say without the surgery i will be FAT. My family history is terrifying. All my relatives are heavy and all are dying young. by age 50 they have died or suffered major heart attacks or strokes. I dont plan on that being me that is why i have persued the surgery....
