My WLS was done at Emory-Adventist Hospital at Smyrma. Welcome and glad to

see another Georgian in the group. Are you going through Emory in Atlanta? What

stage are you at in your WLS? Good luck to you on your journey and let me

know if I can be of help to you.

Hugs,

Got pneumonia 1 day post-op

Hi everyone, I had my Lap RNY on 10/13 and starting running a fever

of 102.7 the next morning. I was scared...the only time I've actually

been scared or had any fear. A lot of tests were taken and it was

determined that I had developed pneumonia. I just got home from the

hospital and I'm doing much better. I had my staples taken out today

and I'm still very sore. I'm not hungry and still on liquid diet.

I haven't had a chance to catch up on posts yet so I hope all my Oct

13 surgery buddies and all other new post-ops are doing good.

I'll catch up when I'm feeling better.

I am in pre-op. I just went to the mandatory seminar and have my referral

to Dr. Khaitan at Emory Atlanta/Decatur. Getting ready to schedule first

appointment.
