Guest guest
Hi all, I wrote a few days ago about my cousin and her having cronic pain. Well it was her Gallbladder. At the time of her surgery her Dr did not remove it b/c he said that it was ok then but she would later have to come back and get it removed(stupid on his prt he should have taken it then). Well she has to have the surgery but can not afford it right now b/c she and her hubby lost there ins. Well that is the good news...here is the bad.....:-( Well I talk to her today and she has not been able to eat.She has ate the total of 3 tbs in 3 days she has lost around 240lbs(surgury sept'02) and now they are saying that she needs this surgery reversed or she is not likely to see her 30 b'day. I am not trying to scare anyone but she is one of the statistics that if something is going to go wrong she has it. She can no longer give blood(founf out she tried to give for a relative)b/c it is no good..she has mutiple female problems, internal problems..She is on mutiple meds, they started her on prenate vite. and nothing is working.... This is scary and is making me think twice about this. But as she said to me..what maybe wrong with her I amy not have any problems at all. Her uncle had it done 7 wks ago and is doing wonderful, I know of two that goes to the PCP as me...one is doing well the other is not. I guess it is how your body responds to the surgery.I have waited to long for this and I guess being scared is one aspect of it. I am still going to go thru with this...If I dont then I am more likely to have problems with out the surgury then I would if I dont have it.... HELP!!!!!!!!!!CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!! Irvington AL Dr Dyas 220/?/120? truely pre-op
Guest guest
HI Constance, No its not to the point into where she is afraid of being big again its just that she cant eat b/c of being sick all the time and being in pain from the gallbladder disease. I know how it feels I was like (10yrs) before I had mine removed last(july)yr. She was 350+ before her surgury...she is now 140-(including eccess skin). She said on the other hand that she was still glad in someway that she had it done...she is one yr post op and just started having problems... But like she told me...She still wants me to have it done. That all people are not the same...that everyone responds to surgury differently...I took all this to heart...I need this done for ME!!! I want this so I can feel better about myself and beable to do things with my kids(10,8,5y/o). But mainly for me... Constance please dont let this scare you in not having this done... DO this for you and for your kids..... Thnks so much....
