One year post-op!

Hi everyone,

I had my surgery on this very day a year ago. I had lower setback

(BSS0) to correct an underbite and asymmetry, and also genioplasty to

balance everything out.

I am completely thrilled of the results! From a functional

perspective, my teeth fit together very well and I have absolutely no

problems chewing.

Although, I did not get orthodontics and surgery for aesthetic

reasons, my face seems to be more 'balanced' now. The changes are

very subtle. Even my closest friends and family could not pin-point

exactly the post-op changes. Many just thought I had lost some weight.

As many of you are aware, this entire process is not a walk in the

park. I had my ups and downs throughout the journey. I had a lot of

support from family and friends. And, of course, this group provided

much encouragement, information and inspiration. So, many thanks to

everyone in this group.

Again, I am extremely happy with the results of the surgery and

orthodontics. Just remember to ask your doctors a lot of questions

and put a little faith in yourself to endure this entire process.

All the best to everyone!

or something to be able to view the pictures?

Take care.
