I loved him to pieces but he could be a pain in the b... when he wanted to be.LOL Bless their hearts! They are just like little kids only worse. At least kids you can tell no!! Look at things differently that is for sure! Sue You know I love my mom to pieces but some days like today i could just scream. I had really bad night last night could sleep, and finally got to be about 5:30 this morning, and guess what she started at 6:10 am , wanted me to go to the store for her and do stuff and give her medicine and anything and everthing to keep me up. I can't wait , My sister in law is coming in from Ohio today or tommorow and she is going to make her go home with her for a week, and i am going to go to the moutains for a week, yeaaaaaaa dawn --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. I had nobody up until a year ago when I found this group! So glad they and all the others have found us! When I fell on my knees on marble in Bahrein earlier in the year, the local doc gave me Celebrex, which was amazingly effective, so ask your doc about trying that - it is anti inflammatory also so it doesn't do the rp any harm!! Guest guest Posted August 10, 2001 Report Share Posted August 10, 2001 Dawn Dog gone you! I would have went and set on their door step! Darn doctors anyway! My sister was doing pretty good today. They still have her in ICU and she will be there until tomorrow. She still has the chest tube and all the hoses but at least they took the breathing tube out so she is a lot happier. She was having a lot of pain this evening so they gave her femoral besides the epadral. I guess this is one of the most painful surgery due to the location of the incision. She was so glad that I was there last night for her and actually remembers me talking to her. I am so glad I stuck around until she woke up last night. Hi Dawn, I take Empracet, It's very much like Tylenol 3, But stronger. Works ok, but pain killers don't work well on me anyhow. Can you not take Tylenol or haven't they given you a prescription pain killer yet? If they haven't prescribed you a pain killer, just kick them with 's pointing boots until they write one out. You need a lot more good days than bad ones! I will be sending good thoughts and prayers your way. Lots of Love Glenda HI ELAINE I CAN SAY FOR SURE THAT ON SOME DAYS MY PAIN IS 15 OR HIGHER IF POSSIBLE. THE OTHER DAY I WAS HURTING SO BAD I TOOK BY BP AND IT WAS UP TO 185/125, AS SOON AS THE PAIN QUIT IT WENT DOWN TO NORMAL. THAT DAY I DID NOTHING BUT LAY AROUND AND SCREAM A LOT. THE NEXT WEEK THE DOC DOUBLED BY METHO FROM 10 TO 20 MGS. I HAVE ONLY DONE THAT FOR ONE WEEK SO I GUESS WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. I CAN'T TAKE A LOT OF THE PRESCRIPED STUFF FOR PAIN. THE DARVOSET AND LORASET AND TYLENOL 3 MAKE ME VERY SICK, NOT SURE WHAT ELSE TO EVEN TRY. FOR THE MOST PART REG. TYLENOL WILL WORK, BUT WHEN I HAVE A REALLY BAD DAY LIKE THE LAST ONE WAS I DO NEED SOMETHING ELSE, THATS FOR SURE. The guy said "I don't know., i was lying on the beach and this little girl asked me a question, i quess i dozed off and the next thing i know is I'm here in tremendous pain. The police went to the beach and found the little girl and asked her, "What did you do to that naked fellow? After a pause the girl replied "To Him?"
