Guest guest
Hi everyone, I had my Lap RNY on 10/13 and starting running a fever of 102.7 the next morning. I was scared...the only time I've actually been scared or had any fear. A lot of tests were taken and it was determined that I had developed pneumonia. I just got home from the hospital and I'm doing much better. I had my staples taken out today and I'm still very sore. I'm not hungry and still on liquid diet. I haven't had a chance to catch up on posts yet so I hope all my Oct 13 surgery buddies and all other new post-ops are doing good. I'll catch up when I'm feeling better. Guest guest
Hey , So sorry to hear about the pneumonia...how awful for you, but I'm happy your surgery went well. Be sure to get plenty of fluids...you'll need even more since you are sick. Hang in there, girlie, things will only get better. I too got sick the night of my second day. I was running a fever, had to have ER blood work done in the middle of the night, was cold, and then in the morning after some rest, I felt better, but started coughing. It hurt to cough, so I avoided it as best I could, but I was told that it was good that I was coughing. My doctor came in to see me with one of his residents. So, I feel for you - though I was not told mine was pneumonia! I am glad you are out now, and I am sure you are very sore. Take care okay? Be well and much love! ~*~**~ /Seta/Anneia/Ari ~**~*~ ~ those who are different change the world those who are the same keep it that way ~ Thank you to " Master Akane " for allowing me to use this quote in my signature.
