Guest guest
You know? I might just do that! How about if me and my three angel children come to your house tomorrow? We can hang out at the pool, and then I'll drive back tomorrow evening. The kids can play together, and we can talk about all the crazy people we met in NC! Hoping to see you tomorrow... Amy. P.S. What is it about this surgery that causes us to go places all the time? Maybe it gives us our self confidence back??? Thank the good Lord...and Dr. R. RE: Amy When are you leaving? Any chance you can come here? We could swim...in our bathing suits...with no one to stare at our fat. I'm excited for Drema too but worried of course. If it was anyone but Dr. R doing this I would be frantic and have to take prescription drugs in mass quantities. > So, Flo...are we going to get these crazy kids together? Guest guest
AWWWWRIGHT! That would be wonderful! Directions: Go to Waldorf just like you did. But at the traffic light by Chuck E Cheese, make a left turn on to Route 5 south toward Leonardtown and Lexington Park. The sign may say Patuxent River Naval Air Station. In Mechanicsville Rt. 5 turns right at a restaurant called Halfway House. DO NOT turn. Keep coming straight and that becomes Rt. 235 south. Follow that to Hollywood. Just past the firehouse (on the right) make a turn at the traffic light on to Rt. 245 which is Hollywood- Leonardtown Road. Go about 2 miles, pass Gatton's Barber Shop (tiny building on right) and take the very next right... Road...follow Road all the way back until you come to a very sharp curve in the road. Take the third left after the curve (Also marked Road) and I'm about the 5th house on the left (you can't see all the houses, some are down in the woods). You'll see two green mailboxes with painting on them...25048...that's my house. Tell me about what time and I'll be watching for you. We can really pig out. MMMMMMMM........oh, I forgot. No we can't. Now I'm excited. It will make the time waiting to hear from Durham go more quickly. Florence Ballengee Hollywood, land florence@... Guest guest
Hi Jodi, The best advice I can give you is stay calm. We have been seeing Dr H since May 2001. You should bring all of 's medical records with you including all test results and measurements. She will want to chart out his growth and see what tests were previously performed. Our first appointment we were with her for well over 2 hours. She measured 3 times (weight and length). She stripped him down and examined every inch of him. Be prepared to wait. She is never on time. The waiting room is very small and crowded, so we always wait outside. Just go in, say you are there and will be outside. They will come get you when it is time to measure . Bring plenty of food/toys/magazines. I have seen your other posts. If she is really concerned about , she will admit him immediately to the hospital. Be prepared to stay. Most of the rooms are doubles with either recliners or chairs that convert to beds for the parents. Be sure to ask for a chair that converts. For a lucky few parents (of those who are there for a long stay) there are some actual cots. You need to ask around. The nursing staff will supply you with sheets/blankets/towels. There are bathrooms that you can use to shower etc. had the triple procedure in June 2002 and it has made a world of difference. He has grown and gained weight very well since then. I work in NYC not that far from the hospital and live about 40 minutes north of NYC. If you would like, email me directly and I will give you my home and office numbers so you can reach me if you need anything. Guest guest
Does anyone know why Amy wanted us to take her off our email list? I know she was in the hospital. Is she ok. Did I miss something? Joyce 11/12/

I had my surgery there almost 8 months ago, and the staff, doctors and everybody in general were / have been great. Do you know something in particular or is it just the " rivalry " I have heard about between Baptist and Kendall. Bibi
