Sometimes I can eat an orange or have a small glass of juice, but 90% of the time, if I do, I get unpleasant side-effects. Without being gross I’ll just say it doesn’t digest well. I’ve been like this for many years. I am also lactose intolerant and take dairy pills for that when I have milk products, but are there any pills that I can take with orange juice? Or is it so high in sugar I shouldn’t bother with it post-op anyway? Thanks, Kris Kris, I realize that you said this has bothered you for years. All I can reply to is that my nutritionist said that we shouldn't eat citrus for a few months because it could plug up the opening to the pouch.
