Hi all,

I have been on this group on and off since I was pre-op. I am now almost

ayear post op and I wanted to sign back up so I could get the support that I am

lacking here in my area. I have been doingokay.. I have lost a total of 114

pounds and that feels great. I am having trouble with what to eat these days

and I am just now finding myself having trouble with dairy and I used to eat a

lot ofyogurt for protien and ease.

Also can someone tell methe name of the group that is for people one year

out of m ore? I was interetsted in that.

When people talk about eating just protien, what kinds of things do you all

eat? What do you mean?

I need to get my food back on track and my exercise up.

Also, I have been in the ER af ew times since my surger for dehydration.. has

anyone else had trouble with this? It is usually following a bad flu or bout

with

diareah and then I just can't catch up on my l iquids in time.

thanks!

Natasha

nice to have you back, natasha. remind us which city you live in.

wtg on the 114 lbs!!!

i also have to watch the dairy, more than 1 serving of milk & i'm in

trouble. light soymilk is a good substitute.

my prot staples: shakes, low carb bars, lunch meat, cheese, chicken,

tuna, ground turkey, sunflower seeds, turkey or beef jerky, yogurt,

soyburger patties.

not overly exciting, but it keeps me in line. no cravings.

no dehydration here, sorry about you ER ordeals. though my water

intake needs improving, oh well, we're all works in progress.

lori h.
