I ground up my medicine to begin with. I had bought a little thing called the Pill Pulverizer. But in nutrition class we were told that as long as the pill is no bigger than an M&M we could swallow it. I sometimes take tylenol caplets. I just break them into halves now and swallow them on. But when I take a capsule I let it melt down in my mouth first then swallow. As far as when I ground them up...I would just put them in my mouth like a goody powder and swallow with my choice of drink. I don't think I could have ever taken them if I had to mix them up in a drink first. I think I would have rather drank gasoline first, lol. Hope this helps.
