Also, we have 3 cats and they love to jump on our bellies.

Do you know if there is any kind of equipment out there

that is meant to protect against that kind of thing?? I’m

imagining a breakfast-tray like thing that I can place over

my belly when I’m sitting up in case I doze off on the

couch so the cats don’t jump on me and rip my lap rny

incisions.

Thanks for your help,

Kris :-)

Kris,

I had gallbladder removal and lap rny and i know that everyone is

different but i was able to go to the bathroom alone from the gitgo. now stairs

might be a problem i am not sure. but i got up and down from the bed, it hurt,

and

i felt like a turtle on my back but i did do it. the same week i got home i

was doing for myself. i stayed with my mother the first day back and then she

came over one day to help with my litter pans and then it was me from then on

doing for me. but i do realize that everyone is different. My cats jumped on me

to. so I would keep a lot of cover or a pillow over me under the covers that

should help. i wasn't able to get on my side to sleep for at least two weeks

and then they jumped on my side.
