Guest guest Posted October 13, 2003 Report Share Posted October 13, 2003 I dunno my leak test was i had to go into this room and stand on like a block and drink this nasty drink, probably the worst thing i've ever had to drink in my life, anyway i had to drink this and hold up a board and had kinda like an x-ray done as i drank the liquid. Guest guest Posted October 13, 2003 Report Share Posted October 13, 2003 Hi Everyone I don't remember this test.When I got out of surgery they had the little tube in my nose sucking everything out of my stomach.After 24 hours they removed it after seeing everything was OK all I had the frist 24 hours was ice chips and swabs for my dry mouth.So was this the test.They said that doing this would tell them if I had a leak or not.Oh don't want to scare anyone but on my news in Iowa said that two women died of RYN stomach By-pass today here in a Iowa Hospital.I don't know what happen yet are Why.If I find out what went wrong I'll let everyone know.So anyone here in Iowa going to have surgery theey reported they were going to slow down on giving many bypasses here.I'm glad I had mine and was in Sioux Falls,South Dakota not there.God Bless and I'm praying for the two womens family here in Iowa.God Bless all of us who made it throught the surgery so wonderful.a friend debkroll of Iowa.So sad of a day for those families.
