Guest guest
Gang, Have any of you experienced the joy of kidney stones post op? Is this a result of the drastic diet change or just coincidence? I have had 2 in the past 8 days...the fist hit me last saturday and the second one on monday. Monday's landed me in the hospital as an inpatient and I ended up in surgery tuesday to have the smaller of the twins removed and stents placed in each ureter (I had a stone on each side). I will have the bigger twin removed this wed. in surgery again and hopefully both stents removed at the same time. I hope they will pull them as I have been bleeding heavily since their placement and it's getting a bit annoying not to mention irritating to my skin. I had stones pre-GBS but my last encounter was 13 years ago when I was pregnant. I was also told I have calcifications in both kidneys and the Dr made it sound like it was slightly concerning... " something to keep an eye on " I believe was what he said.... Debby in WI
