Guest guest
Hello Group! My surgeon ordered me to lose 14 lbs pre-op so that he has room to " work " when he gets in there. Needless to say, this is a huge problem. I am going to the gym 3 times a week, and on slimfast. However, I feel as bloated as ever, and have lost only 2 lbs. Anyone got any pointers? Guest guest
My original surgeon wanted me to lose 40 pounds, so I got a new surgeon¡Äthe stress of losing the weight was making me do the opposite. My original surgeon when I asked for help (medication, etc.), he just said ¡Ègo on a liquid diet 3 weeks prior to the surgery¡É. I just got my new date with my new surgeon and don¡Çt have the stress of losing anything and he is gonna do it LAP. I am a stress eater and am stressed about the surgery, everything I have to do with work, home, etc before surgery¡Ä.I couldn¡Çt go to sleep last night until 2:00 a.m. and I ate a small pizza before I went to sleep I was so stressed out¡Ä.I am not really helping am I¡Ä..sorry! But I know what you are going through¡Äguess that was the point of my e-mail¡Ä.I have 3 weeks before my surgery¡Äso I need to find a more constructive way to deal with the stress or else¡Ä..I will gain 20 pounds instead of losing¡Äkeep your chin up¡Ä.probably best thing is to keep your chin up¡Äif you fail, jump right back on the band wagon so to speak¡Ä.good luck! Guest guest
no pre-op diet here, mercifully. but if you want to slim fast, hehe, use a whey protein shake. & take in good amounts of protein. lori h. > Hello Group! > My surgeon ordered me to lose 14 lbs pre-op so that he has room to > " work " when he gets in there. > > Needless to say, this is a huge problem.
