Hi Everyone,

Yesterday was the 2 month anniversary of my open RNY. I am down 44

lbs, and happy with that. It's an average of almost 6 pounds a

week. I can deal with that. If I can keep that or close to it up,

I'll his my goal of being 200 lbs or less by Christmas. So far I've

dropped about 2 shirt sizes and at least 3 pant sizes and need to

shop. This weekend we went to visit our daughter at college and I

decided I needed a new MTU sweatshirt. I was able to take a LARGE!!

(Ok, so they're cut big it still says large on the tag.) I try to

swim to days a week and walk the other days. I also lift weights

everyother day and hope to get to the fitness center once a week to

work out on thier machines. So far I've had no complications or

regrets. Thanks for listening (reading?).

WOW!!! I am surprised you are able to lift weights already. I see my doc

on Friday and I was going to ask him when I can start that. I thought it

was further out. When did you start that?

Good luck on your continued weight loss.

I started lifting weights at about 4 or 5 weeks. I'm using 5 lbs weights now

and may move up to 8 or 10 soon.
