Guest guest
HELLO, I HAD THE GASTRIC BYPASS 4 MONTHS AGO. I HAVE LOST 56 LBS. I CAN NOT GET OVER THIS FEAR THAT THE WEIGHT LOSS IS GOING TO STOP. DO I SHARE THE SAME FEAR AS OTHERS? WILL MY WEIGHT LOSS CONTINUE? Guest guest
LOL... and here I sit pouting, wondering if my weightloss will continue. The closer I get to goal the slower and slower my weightloss gets and at this point it is completely stalled. To answer your question... Yes, your weightloss will likely slow down significantly in the coming months and you will find that you need to work harder to keep the weight from reappearing. There are occassions where people's bodies become super efficient and continue to lose even after they have reached their goal. The key is to reintroduce carbs into the diet and begin drinking with meals in order to take in more calories. You are doing wonderfully on your weightloss so far. Congratulations. **Don't dwell on past failures, dream of future successes.** ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Toi ~ Colorado Lap RNY Medial Bypass 12/31/02 -130 lbs St. Mark's Hospital Salt Lake City, UT Dr. Simper > HELLO, > > I HAD THE GASTRIC BYPASS 4 MONTHS AGO.
