I couldn't trim that long post from Recovery Mom, so am replying to the

Last November I had an ultra sound for colon polyps and was told they

found large kidney stones. I joined the LOD list for a few days and got

help and support from an expert there and info about kidney stones and

I asked Jody about the food list. I then proceeded to avoid foods I had

been having all along. Months went by before I was called for the CT

Scan and weeks to get the results. Guess what.? No kidney stones! A

typical mainstream medical mixup.

Next, allergies.

Sometimes my ankle itches. It can be after yogurt, cow cheese

strawberries, nuts and then not at all to any of these. Tonight I had

all three and my ankle is acting up, but I can't figure out which of

the three did it. This is what Elaine warned me about whenever I

brought up the subject of food 'allergies, " which we also call

" sensitivities. " Oh yes and all those allergy tests for foods turned

up nothing but allergy to dust mites.

Go figure.

So next time at the checkout it will be goat cheese, blueberries and a

Swiffer mop!
