A new study in the Journal of Health Affairs has found that the number of

countries that use medications to treat attention-deficit/hyperactivity

disorder (ADHD) has tripled worldwide. Countries such as Canada, Australia,

France, Sweden, Korea, and Japan show significant increases in the use of

Private health plans are increasing copays for their subscribers to manage

drug costs, and the move is affecting how some people take prescribed

medications, researchers say. Especially hard-hit are people who take meds
