Greetings from Malaysia & peace be upon you and yours. You are such a

wonderful group of people and I am so very happy that I found you. My

son has verbally improved after taking the NN EFA & EPA & Vit E. His

siblings now call him the " I want " and " What that " monster. But he has

also picked up another peculiar habit i.e. when he is excited, he

either pulls the hair or scratches the arm of the person closest to

him or he grabs the shoulder of his shirt (or my shirt) with his teeth

and sucks on the material. I am wondering if excitement triggers a

sensory attack and if there is any SI exercise (intervention) that can

help him. Fyi, SI is still at an infancy stage in Malaysia and its

difficult to get advise from a qualified OT. Currently, my son goes

thru SI but we dont know the objective of some of the SI routines he

does (e.g. hanging upside down from a bar). Tq ever so much for your

help.

There are a couple of books that I found helpful for my son. The out of

Sync Child and the out of sync child has fun. I ordered both of mine off of

amazon.com
