Guest guest
I know the whole vaccine thing has been thrown around before. Bottom line, I see both sides of the argument. No vaccines = more disease. Too many vaccines too early and not properly spaced out seems to have the potential for harm, particularly for kid with gut/neuro issues. I am just curious to know if anyone noticed any setbacks or ill effects with any particular vaccine. I ask this because, as you may or may not know, I have a likely celiac daughter with hair loss and a likely celiac malabsorbing son with some apraxic issues. Daughter is up to date on vaccines but it seems to me that the hair loss began after the DPT shot. Son is behind with chicken pox shot and DPT booster (I think the 18 month one) due to illness and changing pediatricians. Since the hair loss, gut issues (celiac?), and speech declines seem related I am wondering if that shot could be a common denominator. For now the new pediatrician (provaccine guy) has agreed to hold off on shots until we see what we have. I am just asking to put puzzle pieces together. I hope you will give me your best answers, regardless of your vaccine take. I am willing to listen to everyone's ideas as passionate as they may be on this question since carefully considering everything is the only road to true progress. Thanks!
