Guest guest
Hello all!! First of all I would like to thank each and every one of you for yor responses, prayers, etc. these past 8 weeks. On 1/25 my 4 year old son Lucas was diagnosed with Sanfillipo which is a fatal disease that effects the brain and eventually causes death between the ages of 10 to late teen years. This is the reason for the speech delay, cognitive delay, etc. There currently is NOT a cure for this disease but the MPS society is trying hard to find one. I will join the MPS society in this fight by holding a walk-a-thon in WI sometime this summer as it is our only hope for Lucas' survival. I will probably drop this group in the next week or so as Lukie is in a different place than most of your kids. I love this group and you guys have helped me through so many bad times. Your support has been just wonderful. Keep on working with your kids and enjoy every day with them as it is more precious then you may know. Jill - Wisconsin Lucas (4.0) --------------------------------- Everyone is raving about the all-new beta.
