Guest guest Posted January 15, 2003 Report Share Posted January 15, 2003 dear all, this just a note to let everyone know that BCBS is being dropped by the University of Minnesota... Dr. Sutherland will no longer be able to accept this insurance until futher notice from the hospital... They are note paying or reimbursing the hospital at the propper rate for the transplant prtion of the surgery which is currently 11,880.00... Dr. sutherland would anyone who has Blue Cross Blue sheild of any state to contact them and push them to cover this and to explain how inportant it is that they cover things that we need as patients... Again he wanted me to enforsize that it is not him that has made this decision and he will do what he can to help...His hand has been forced by both the insurance and the Hospital...
